Intro
Slowpitch is a team sport, which has come over from the United States.
It is the brother of Softball, which in turn is the daughter of Baseball.
Despite the name (Softball), the game is played with a hard ball.
The main difference with Base - and Softball is that the pitch (the way
the ball is thrown to hit) has an arc that affect its peak between 1m80 and 3m60.
What makes Slowpitch so unique is its mixed character.
It is one of the few sports where men and women are on the same field.
There are some specific rules about that, for example that there have to
be as much males as females on the field.
