During the end of 2007, Slowpitch knew its upswing in Belgium, where 7 clubs founded a team.
Only at the end of 2008 our coach, Jan Ghekiere, was able to convince his club K. Mortsel Stars to found a team.
Because both our Coach, Jan Ghekiere, as our sponsor, Adsalco bvba, have a
shared interest in Star Wars,
the name "SKYWALKERS" was quickly taken for granted.
The team of 2009 existed mostly out of Recreanten and a few baseball players.
Our team was also able to attract a few new members to get engaged into this adventure.
Thanks to our sponsor, Adsalco bvba, we were able to excel in beautiful
shirts and caps during our first preliminary tournament.
The first season was a great success for our young team, they achieved against all odds a beautiful second place
during the competition.
During the 2010 season our young team could count on the support of 4 Americans.
This again drew the international character of our team, because during the 2009 season
2 South – African females joined our team.
